Morning solace
The smell was sweet
A fresh fruity but musty scent
That moved through the trees
A quiet chime through the trees
A path well cut by nature
And watched for by no bone
differently,
The rudiments creating and altering
In ways known best-
Our mortal hearts stood still
Observing, absorbing
Taking in peace
Before the rest of the world
Woke up for another day.
